    Coleman (Intex) filter vacuum attachment

You have no idea how much that helps. I've had the ultimate dummy moment by forgetting to unscrew the inlet to vacuum out my pool to get it work with my sand filter.

    Sand Filter Vacuuming

Alright gang, I've hit a major snag, and I hope I've put this on the appropriate forum. I have a Intex 1200 GPH Krystal Clear Sand Filter Pump 28643EG, which I absolutely love. I'm trying to vacuum, but I'm having the hardest time getting a proper setup with my Intex AGP. I have a vacuum head...

    Test Results

Well, this certainly helps. This is why I put this out here. My SWG hasn't been running much, because well it's telling me to add salt. Imagine that, right? I'll look at the test kit, that's obviously a necessity. I really appreciate the feedback guys!!!!

Yeah, I don't do chlorine. I do salt. I guess by testing it this way, it is rather faulty?

I have not. Guessing that is worth looking into!

    Test Results

Alright gang, took my water to the pool store yesterday, and here are the results!!! You are not the father! Wait...that's not right! My sand filter is running right above 5 PSI. Not that I'm doubting what she's saying, but a second opinion is welcomed. The nice lady recommended: -pH...

    Intex 635T replacement suggestions

I haven't doctored up the setup yet Jason, but wanted to share. Had a minor issue with a leak, but that was due to the O-Ring, and then I forgot to rinse and backwash. Other than that, DRAMATIC difference. Gonna post over some results on another thread to get some help there! Just wanted to say...

    Intex 635T replacement suggestions

Jason, just ordered an Intex 28643EG 1200 GPH Sand Filter. I look forward to using this with the salt system, any pointers for it when it comes in?

    Intex 635T replacement suggestions

Also, may seem like a dumb question, but I'd assume this would keep the pool much cleaner, right? Living in South Louisiana, get all sorts of debris, pollen, and etc in my pool currently.

    Intex 635T replacement suggestions

I'll definitely check this out! It sounds like this would save me a lot of time. I love the saltwater system, definitely think that's a must have for any of the AGPs. Maybe another thread for this, but any vacuum solutions you'd suggest?

    Intex 635T replacement suggestions

Two follow up questions Jason (and I appreciate you answering)....do they use filter cartridges (the 635 eats through them), and does this allow for a better vacuuming using this pump?

    Intex 635T replacement suggestions

Hey gang, My pump finally kicked the bucket after nearly two years. It was working fine, but the impeller messed up. As I've found on the forums, no replacement of parts are available. I use a saltwater system in conjuction with this pump, just wondering if you guys had suggestions for another...

    Intex impeller falling apart

Definitely not surprised, thought I'd check my options before ultimately having to buy a new pump. I'll scour the web to see if I can't get a deal on one. Thanks!

    Intex impeller falling apart

I've had this same issue, does anyone know if this could be fixed by replacing the magnetized pieces inside? In all honesty, I need a new one, but seems like such a waste to buy a new filter when it could be salvaged. I pulled it apart, and found that the pieces were basically disintegrating. I...

    AG Pool Ladder

Hey Gang! Hope all is well and everyone has their pool in shape & ready to go! I had a question for those with AGP Ladders, the 'A' frame seems too unstable for my taste. Trying to get some ideas on how to stabilize it better to make it less wobbly. Is it more about the sturdy ground it sits on...

    Intex 635T Pump Leak

Thanks Charlie! I apologize it has taken so long to get back to you, love the suggestion! I'm going through those other filters fast. This would definitely seem to be a better route.

    Intex 635T Pump Leak

I appreciate the help! It looks like I might have pulled a 'dummy'. It occurred to me that I didn't do the obvious thing. CHANGE THE FILTER So far, so good....:brickwall: I feel dumb!

    Intex 635T Pump Leak

Hey Gang, New to the forum, I appreciate you taking the time to read my post. I'm at a dead end at the moment. I have a leak from my filter pump, that much I know is clear. Let me give my 'what I've tried' I noticed when I had done my spring maintenance to get my pool back up and running...
