    Cloudy pool high cya

    Been doing pretty good staying on top of pool maintenance. But last week i tested my cya and it was 90-100 which shocked me. Drained some water and added more. Testing from today( im shocking now) FC-22 Cya-70-85 Ph-8.5 My question is which do i need to tackle first? Get cya down or raise FC...

    Chemistry close???? Cloudy water

    My water is "clear" in the sense that i can see the bottom and see people in the water. The water still looks cloudy tho. esp if I am in the water with goggles. Numbers are.... FC-3.5 Cc-.5 TA-150 Ch-400 Cya-49 Ph-7.6 Any thoughts????

    Green pool........... new pool owner

    I am a new pool owner. I read threw the "shock Process" and I'm confused now. My water sample numbers are as followed FC=6.8ppm TC=7.7ppm CC=.8ppm pH=7.5 Hardness=229ppm ALK=122ppm CYA=40ppm With chlorine numbers that high shouldn't I be winning the battle with the algae? Thanks for your help Jon
