Re: OKC renovation started 11.27.13 Very nice. Too bad you can't easily resurrect the hot tub. The kiddos and I have been playing in ours almost every night. So fun to warm it to about 97-98 and hang out while its in the 30s. An in-ground, matching hot tub would be icing on the cake!

I bought me a 2012 Pro4X just last week. Replaced my Chevy Avalanche and I'm loving it so far! The wifey drives a 2009 Nissan Armada.

Polaris makes both. The 9300 and 9400 series are "robotic" cleaners.

At 30W and an average of $0.25/kWh, that works out to about $5 a month. Not a huge deal is it?

I've used an Aquabot T4, Blue Diamond Pro, and Polaris 9300xi. The Polaris is by FAR the easiest to clean as you just remove the tray and spray it out. Agree, the bag is a pain in Rear!

Ran my pool cleaner and filter A LOT. I did use the packets, mostly because the flood of water knocked my CYA below recommended levels. I'm using a floater with pucks right now since CYA is still on low side. TA was down around 40 so added about 4 lbs of baking soda which brought it to about 70...

I was negotiating right up to the day I signed the contract. The pool builder can always say no and I can always go somewhere else. Much of a PBs flexibility comes down to how skinny they quoted in the first place.
