    Finally done with the pool and deck. Finishing up the electrical and water to the deck today so I can get my misting fan and shower going next week.

    My new 18' x 52'' Ultra Frame and Deck Build

    Well a few weeks ago I almost pulled the trigger on a 24' hard wall pool from pool supply world. Instead I figured I'd do another Intex instead and add a deck and some other goodies this time around.

    Thanks for the response. The main reason for not getting the Matrix is because its 54''. I have a 6yo and 4yo. Seems to be almost the same but of course the top rails and uprights are a little larger. So you think I should go with the 150sqft cartridge filter but with the 1hp 2 speed pump? Or...

    Still so undecided. Went to Clearwater pools locally and seen what they had to offer. Pretty sure I will still order with poolsupplyworld but not sure of the options I want.

    I've had an Intex frame set 18' x 48'' for the last 3 seasons and this year it's rusted too bad for me to consider it safe to be in. Looking to go with a 24' x 52' steel/hybrid pool. I haven't read much info here about an online retailer (poolsupplyworld.com). I am looking to get this package...

    Are Borates Normally at "0" from new fill? No Strips To Test

    Strictly BBB here. Only thing I have added to my pool was CYA and bleach so far.Will shoot for 50ppm if there at 0ppm. Thanks

    Are Borates Normally at "0" from new fill? No Strips To Test

    I want to add borates to my pool tonight but not one of the 8 pool stores around here carry Borate Test Strips. One place said they can test them there with their machine. I figure I can try to put them at 40ppm-45ppm. And bring in a sample to them maybe Friday. My TA is at 80 and pH 7.4 right...

    Actually it's 30# Roofing Felt Paper. Several posts i've read mentioned it for use in AGP setup. Being a roofing contractor I had a few extra rools laying around :wink: . I'll try and take some photos tommorow of the fountain running.

    [attachment=2:d0fcnal7]IMG_0532.JPG[/attachment:d0fcnal7] 1 1/2'' Slip Coupling to Adjust Skimmer when needed. 1 1/2'' to 1 1/4'' reducer allows the stock skimmer to pop right in. I can pop it out and attach my new 1 1/4'' hose very eaisly...
