That makes sense to me when you put it like that. If I only would have found this place before I bought my pool I would have done a couple things diff.

After doing allot more reading and looking at pump curves I think I am going to go with a whisperflo pump. What I can't figure out is why in the world would a manf. bundle that 1.5HP pump with my filter? I mean the 1.5HP pump can flow up to 80ish-90GPM and the 1.5" lines can not handle that...

What model Pentair would you recomend for my system?

I have done FC over night test and my pool is always clear. CC never more than .5. Sometimes 3gl will last 5-6 days at most just depends. Can anyone give me some feed back or opinions on the Hayward Matrix 1 HP 2-Speed.

WalMart bleach I think it is like 5.75% Chlorine.
