Hard to tell what the ph is- new to the pool and testing

I i did this. The results were 3.6 at night and 2.6 this morning. I am assuming I passed? How often should I do this? Also not sure why earlier when I did the fc test I came up with 6? Unless i didn’t perform correctly.

Thanks I will do that other test tonight. So I am in the medical field and relating some of this science to my patients Abgs etc. so if I understand correctly if ph increases-TA decreases. If ph decreases-TA increases?

So just leave it all alone for now? How often do you test your water and will I do the same for my spa. I really appreciate your help- this has been stressing me out and the pool stores have been awful!

Ok I just performed my first test. Confused on what the app states. For my Low ph the app is saying add borax but for the high TA it’s saying lower ph??

One more question is bleach the same as liquid chlorine? I have put power powder plus 73 in prior as instructed by pool store

Hi-my name is Kim- new pool owner in Tennessee. I’m really trying to understand all these chemicals and taking care of the pool myself. I have so far been taking my samples to the pool store, but I want to be independent of them. I know i need to invest in a testing kit first.

@PoolStored I am a new pool owner and trying to figure out the chemicals. I have been taking to Leslie’s pool store but i really want to learn it myself. So I have a chlorinator that i currently have tabs in, but I have been reading that most recommend liquid chlorine?
