This is my two year old intex with a new thru the wall skimmer. Plus I added a fountain on it also. The pluming was very easy to do with the couplings you can buy at Lowes or HD. Just waiting for the weather to warm up. It's been unusually cold for April and May hear in North Mississippi.

I also used the pvc adapters on my Intex 16x48 ultra frame pool and they are great. Just remember to look in the electrical pvc isle at Lowes or HD. Very inexpensive for what they do. Also installed a thru the wall skimmer and a fountain. All ideas I learned about on Trouble Free Pools.

Received my new Intex pump and installed it yesterday, working great. The Intex customer service was very easy to deal with. Just remember to keep your receipt.

Intex approved warranty claim. My new one is on the way.

Just faxed claim to Intex. Hope they send me a new one. I've only had it for a year.

Has anyone had any problem out of an Intex sand filter pump. Mine was working fine yesterday, then all of a sudden I look outside and nothing. Check on pump it's hot. I let it cool off and try to restart it and it start whining. Looks like it's toast. Can you hook another pump to the intex...

I'm going to hard plum my Intex 16"x 48" Ultra frame pool this weekend and I will not be using my old suction port. I will be installing a new wall skimmer. Does anyone know how to plug the old suction hole. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks.posting.php?mode=post&f=20#

I love your fountain. Looking at the pictures, is that a cap on the inside of the old suction line? If so were did you ge it. Going to start pluming mine this weekend.
