I put three pucks in the basket this morning. I also have left over powered dichlor that I will use for additional chlorination. And I will order more CYA test reagents to keep my eyes on it. Thanks Again to Everyone. :wave:

I will do the "bucket" test to be sure but there has been no increase in water usage and no visible water on the property. If my CYA is dissipating somehow, that's awesome! In California it never went away and just keep climbing. The ability to use the Trichlor pucks makes life a little easier...

Oh, as for the pool pump, currently it starts at 2:30 and runs till 8:30. I get home around 5:30 and test between then and 6:30.

When draining your pool it's a good idea to turn off your auto fill valve water source. It sure drains quicker once you do! :hammer:
