    Salt and TA questions

Is there any way that TA and ph would drift upwards without adding baking soda or soda ash? Or would high values of these in my fill water be the main cause of this? I'm looking at the intelliph or intellichem because I believe i have several factors that contribute to my rising PH. First, I...

    Salt and TA questions

Hello all, I just have a couple questions. As I convert to a SWG this next week, I am wondering about how much salt to add. I have tested my water and it shows 1400ppm of salt already. I know this is from using bleach for my chlorine. Will this salt that's already in the pool work just as...

    Automation system

The question is just whether it's worth $600 more to get the intellichem to measure the ph or get the cheaper intelliph that just dispenses a constant % (like the swg setting)

    Automation system

    Getting started in Automation

My work schedule can be very crazy, sometimes taking me out of town for a few days at a time. I'd like to get a more automated system to control my pool chemicals so that they don't get too far out of whack. I already have an Intellitouch control system from pentair to turn the pumps and...

upgrades? (intellichem, and variable speed pump)

I bought my house last year and it already had the pool installed with an intellitouch i9+3 system and whisperflo pumps from pentair for filtration and water features. I've been thinking about it for a while now and would like to get input from the forums about making a couple upgrades...
