    Water features & filters

Thanks PoolGate for the reply. I have a sand filter that everything runs through before. Do you think that would be fine or is there a chance of small sand particles leaving the filter and getting stuck in the water feature?

Where am I going wrong.....algae outbreak

Re: Where am I going wrong.....algae outbreak. During the SLAM process there is FC loss. Are sand filters known to take longer to filter the water? Would a cartridge filter do a better job?

Hey guys, Thanks for your input. I ended putting the pool where I originally was thinking. Once the pool is done there will be enough slope for any water to get away from the pool and decking area. Thanks again.
