    Broken Thru Bolt

You almost make it sound too easy. I just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing. What I was calling the thru bolt is the main driving mechanism or shaft of the motor. Part of it still seems to be seated in the impeller.

    Broken Thru Bolt

I took apart my pump motor and it looks like part of the thru bolt from the motor corroded and broke off in the impeller. Can this be fixed? I have not seen anywhere you can buy just the thru bolt. The motor seems to be working. However it was not moving any water, presumably due to the...

    has anyone used "POOLSKIM"?

another pool skim question I did. Thanks. It was much more informative than the official web site. However now I have another question. My pool water level varies quite a bit during the course of the summer. Will this effect the performance of the poolskim?

    has anyone used "POOLSKIM"?

not pleased with skimmer sock I have tried skimmer socks. The pollen, bugs and other debris tend to collect in the sock which I guess is its intended purpose, but in doing so it causes what seems to be an audible strain on my pump in no time at all. I am not thrilled with the skimmer sock...
