Hi, In opening the pool and trying to clear it up quickly I "over bleached" and also used the chlorine pucks (which I stopped a few days ago). Today my FC is 40 and CYA 70. How long will the FC take to come down ? What levels of both are safe for swimming ? Thanks

Hi I have an inground vinyl pool and just replaced the liner a few weeks ago and of course filled the pool with new water. My PH has been 7.8, my free chlorine 3 - 5 and my TA 150. However I can't get a reading on CYA - it has been zero. Is that a problem ? Will it eventually rise ?

What is the highest a FC level can be before you don't allow people in the pool ?

I have been having this problem the past couple of years. I get large brown patches and streaks throughout the bottom of my pool. It must be algae because if I super shock with 4 gal of liquid chlorine it disappears. As soon as the chlorine level comes down a little to maybe 10 it re-appears...
