    Air leak help

Last week, I started noticing air coming out of the pool returns. I found air bubbles coming from the basket lid, fixed that with a new O-ring gasket. Pump primes quickly and runs without any air collecting in the top of the basket lid. Yay! Thought everything was running well - no evidence...

SWG to Chlorine injection - Making the Switch

I've been on the saltwater bandwagon for the last 11 years. My second salt cell is dying now, and would like to consider the DIY Stenner pump and bleach injection methodology. Here's a question for any other SWG to Stenner converters: 1) Did you see an decrease in the amount of MA added...

    No Drain Acid Wash

For the last few seasons, I've seen more and more evidence of pool bottom and wall scaling. The pool is 10 years old (24K gallon), and the water comes from a well (which is hard to begin with). It's getting so bad, that swimmers come out of the pool with their feet bleeding. Very rough...

    First Post

Just wanted to say "thanks" for the Pool School. It really helped me solve an algae issue that I didn't even know I had. My SWG couldn't keep up with chlorine production, and my FC levels were around ZERO for a month. Thanks to the "How to Shock Your Pool", I faithfully followed the...
