The picture is really hard to see. It is on the walls in the shade and sun side (it does not get much shade), it brushes off without much effort, the chemical levels have been at normal range all year and water is crystal clear. I will brush it off and it will reappear in a day or two.

I am on day 10 after start up of a new build. Water looks clear, no CC smell, problem is... i can't get the chlorine to read above .5 . I am using trichlor to start with, so CYA is getting added slowly. I doubled the recommended flow through the chlorinator but still no budge... does the sun...

My friend mentioned using Polymeric sand instead of caulk at the expansion joint… has anyone tried this? I hate dealing with the caulk mess and don’t want to spend $1k on a contractor.
