Pumps with a fault breaker built in

If the timer circuit is on a GFCI, you can remove the GFCI on the cord end and install just a regular cord end. A lot of the cord end type GFCI devices are made to trip when power is lost.

    Digital pH tester

I use a Myron L 6Psi. I use it for work and all my calibration solutions are also supplied by work. I calibrate it weekly. I think as far as price goes, if you are willing to buy a high quality meter for upwards near $1,000.00, those electronic meters are very reliable. Now my experience...

Intex floating skimmer with solar cover

Although it does not skim all the water, having the cover like in the picture allows the cover to not get sucked into the skimmer and thus some skimming will occur... ImageUploadedByTapatalk1344283459.724682.jpg[/attachment:yscli047] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Pool Envy.....

I hear ya!!! I grew up with a large rectangular plaster inground pool most my whole life until I was 18 or so. Moved out and haven't had a pool of my own until about 3 weeks ago. Only 18 years later I finally bought an 18'x4' Intex Ultra-Frame. I think with all the equipment rental for the...

Bought new Intex 18' Ultra Frame But Not Ready For It

Intex states in all their paperwork to not return it to the store. I would consider setting it up if the ground will be ready for it and just treat it like any other above ground pool and plan on winterizing it. I set ours up this summer hastily and am not 100% happy with everything so I will...

Drain Intex pool via filter pump

I think with these style pumps that the lower the water level gets the harder it will be for the pump to remain primed. The sump pump I got emptied my pool so fast that I had started draining and doing all my work and refilling it all the same day and dosed it that night still so it was well...

Intex Sand Filter Backwash Hose and Connection

I bought a 2" drain hose, the flat rolled up type. I was able to stretch it over the threads but I still wasn't happy... I ended up buying a fitting like this: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1343180405.524176.jpg[/attachment:2r5ux4xy] And then just threaded it on until it was...

    High Iron Well Water

Iron isn't an indication of hardness. If you have 50 grains hardness, how much of that is calcium? That and alkalinity are the more important numbers to look at when filling a pool. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
