Oh, I also want to mention that IRL, the algae has more of a yellow-brown tint. It appears black-ish in the photos, which is not really true to what I actually see.

I did the best I could for photos. Here is from a bit of a distance. Here it is close up. Here it is even closer, though it is blurry.

I am going to have to shock this weekend. I will go out and try to take photos to share. It is not a lot, but it is there, even keeping the TC up to 8, and now I think I have some CC as well. I have put off shocking not to lose swimming time, but it will be done this weekend.

Are you serious? Would that be okay to do that? I wish I could leave the pool up all year long and just close it, but I don't think that is possible with the type of pool I have (blow-up-ring Intex) and where I live (upper mid west).
