Hi John I own a Barracuda G3 and it works great for my pool. However I don't think it will climb the walls like you would want in your intex. It might get stuck or tip over attempting to climb. If the unit is cheap go for it, you never know.

My pool is cloudy with alot of dibris on the bottom. I attached my Zodiac G3 pool cleaner and the pressure in the filter is continualy going up to high causing the cleaner to stop. I backwash then rinse and it will run well for 10 minutes and the same thing happens again. HELP!
