Need reviews on gas heaters. Planning to sign shortly to begin build. Being offered a Jandy 400lt gas heater for a 15,000 gal pool/spa. Does this have a good longevity? Please advise.

We have just begun the bidding process and have 4 in the works. It has been suggested twice that we consider the chemical injection of the soil to stabilize the soil. It sounds like a large additional expense 3K or so. Is this overkill?
