    Yes I can turn off the skimmers, and leave just the main drain open. My profile picture shows the valves. Would setting the spider valve to waste be the way to go?

    I want to add SWG to my pool, specs in the signature line. I added borates last year before closing, and have not even removed the cover this year. Live in MN and want to stop hauling as much Chlorine... SWG to stay away from? Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

    I've heard that installing a SWG with a inground that does not have a automatic cover is difficult to maintain I live in MN, so the winters are long and I just opened it last week been shocking for about 4 days now, would a SWG work for me.

    I poured a small slab to accomidate the pump, heater, and my SF, just off the pool deck. hind sight was this a bad idea for winterizing, or backwashing, or any other reason i may have forgotten?
