hello guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. My heater blows the GFCI if I turn it on.....right away. But when I plug it in to a non=GFCI it works fine??

I agree with bpricedo in that I would be careful on my choice in sealing. You can do the cast on color hardener or kept in mind you can do the salt finish in a stamped pattern as well which would really be great in a nice travertine color with the washed out salt would be great for your pool it...

To be honest I think he's charging you a little to much on the change order for the stamped concrete over the pea gravel. You might want to get another price and compare to your contracted price for the pea gravel mix. I think you can get him down from 4,500 if you really want the look

Hi Jill, I was out all day but you got good info from above threads. Just stay with lowering the PH with the acid. You have homeowner friendly acid ( I think) probably 15% not full strengh 30%. Use the drop down arrow to change your acid to the 15% choice in the calculator.

you really have to do a partial water change. try doing about 1.25 of the pool a day maintaining proper FC level re-test after day 2 to see if you need a day 3 and 4. when you get down to 30-50 begin the shock process

read pool school front and back great stuff there....and use the pool calculator....and good luck

oh- and no more hypo-chlorite, just use bleach to shock and maintain FC. Again refer to pool school and pool calculator for how much.

Those are not bad numbers. You can do a partial water change if you want to get the CYA down. check out the pool school for the proper FC level for your CYA level, which you really have to narrow down a proper reading on. Then you can either maintain the proper FC level for your CYA level or do...

If you are commited on doing the water change on the pool, which is great, I would hold off on adding anything until you after you add the new water. Why keep wasting additives...eg the borax etc. Besides alot of your problems might deminish with the water change, but that of course depends on...

sounds like you might have a scale problem. That calcium reading is very high so is the TA, CSI is probably high and I suspect it might be your well water

Jill you should post how long your running the filter, they are going to want to know

Re: TF100 Arrived!!!! help! The knee high trick is ok but really for a pinch, they don't hold up as well, especially are harder to rinse off. Again good temp solution, but don't really work as good as the pool sock material.

obviously don't go in the pool, clean the pool as you would normally the chlorine level will come down to proper shock level and follow everything in pool school as Rich said
