I'm just filling my pool ready for our effort at a summer:D, I'm running a salt water generator, once the pool is filled, the instructions are telling me to put in two bags of salt, do I need to shock the pool with chlorine as well please.

Iv bought a new pool and I'm going to fit a wide mouth skimmer to it, as I did on my last pool. My question is if I have the inlet at, say, 12 o'clock, what time is the best place for the skimmer to go, don't forget guys, I only have ONE chance at this lol. Also, I have a sand filter running...

i was in my pool today having a clean around with my mask and snorkell and i came across a 2" tear in the bottom can this be fixed or do i have to drain the pool to fix it H......E......L.....PPPPPPPPPPPP Gazz

hi again guys, just a quickie as its getting towards that time of year in Blighty can i have my 1/3 hp pump and sand filter at the same level as the surface of my pool, at the moment is is about 1m lower Cheers Gazz

Hi again peeps i want to sink my pool in the ground about 2', if i do this, what is to stop the water getting under the pool, or the hole in the ground filling with water. At the moment i have a 15' intex, i believe i would have to get a 15' Doughboy if i want to sink it in the ground, is this...

after reading on here about testing the water, im gonna get the TF 100.........however using my little silly kit i have, the readings are as follows DPD No 1 tab....2.0 - 3.0 Red PH tab...7.6 - 7.8 daft question, what am i testing for :?, i take it its Cl and Ph , and how do these results...
