    In trouble with cloudy water

I've been at it all day. There has been no change in cloudiness. At 2pm I raised FC to 26. It was 20.5 at 3:30. CC at 1 each time. I'm out of bleach, so I'm gonna have to make a run. Should I be concerned that there has been no color change?

    In trouble with cloudy water

Hi guys, This community has been really helpful to me in the past and it seems I've gotten myself into a bit of a pickle, so I'm hoping you can be helpful again! I had a problem 2 weeks ago with my SWG. It was saying no flow. I went back and forth with Zodiac to get it fixed. In the...

    Multiport Valve leaking from top

Switched out the top part of the valve, fixed the leak. Then replaced the flow sensor on the SWG and fixed that. So all is well with equipment. Sadly, I didn't do a good job keeping up the chlorine in the absence of the SWG, so I'm SLAMing tonight! Thanks for your input, duraleigh. I...

    Multiport Valve leaking from top

Thanks. I'm waiting on the parts. In the meantime, the SWG has thrown some error codes, so I have a call in to Zodiac. Looks like there's an issue with the PIB or Flow Sensor. It's under warranty, so I have hope it'll get fixed. Just hassle. I thought this was my year to open a Trouble...

    Multiport Valve leaking from top

It's leaking fairly steadily from the top of the valve now. A drip every few seconds or so. I'm going to go ahead and order a replacement. Do you think that could be causing the "no flow"?

    Multiport Valve leaking from top

Hi All, I've got a few issues going on and I'm curious to know what you folks think. First, it appears that my multiport valve is leaking from the top. I'm attaching a photo. I've seen some threads here and a few youtube videos that address the issue, but I don't know exactly how to...

    White Water Mold

Just now, without adding anything all day, we're at FC=26 and CC=0.5.

    White Water Mold

This morning we are at FC=36.5 and CC= 1. Though it was really close to clear at one drop, I added one more for total clarity for the CC = 1.

    White Water Mold

Well, to update y'all - we're still shocking. We've been scrubbing and scrubbing and this stuff is still hanging on. How is it continuing to grown with so much chlorine present? We've gotten the CC down from 3.5 to 1 since the beginning of the process, so at least there is progress. However...

    White Water Mold

Oh, wow. That is a lot more than I've been doing. Need to make a trip to the store.

    White Water Mold

Oops, 11.5 is TC. CC is 3. So, I need to keep FC at 30 until I pass the OCLT, right? THANK YOU!

    White Water Mold

We've been having a lot of trouble with our Jandy 1400 SWG this year. We opened the pool early and a week later, we got error 121, so after going through a bunch of stuff we replaced the cell. Then we have been dealing with errors 123 and 188 for a couple of weeks. Looks like we might have it...

    Jandy/Aquapure 1400 Errors 123 & 188

I'm starting to think that the "algae" is, in fact, white water mold. We changed out our filter sand today. It was caked with what appears to be pink slime. After reading a little on both of these, I'm really worried we've got a big problem on our hands.

    Jandy/Aquapure 1400 Errors 123 & 188

Thank you, Bama. I'm working on that now. I think we've fixed the error codes, but the water is all out of whack. I've been doing a lot of reading on Pool School and have purchased a TF-100. Whee, this pool is fun.

    Jandy/Aquapure 1400 Errors 123 & 188

Hi, I'm new here, so please forgive any breaches of etiquette. I've been lurking for a couple of years, but have always been able to get an answer by looking through others' posts until now. We opened our 36,000 gallon pool over a month ago. For the first two weeks it was too cold to use...
