Just installed my new Hayward S244t and for the life of me, I can not get the fittings to completely seal. One is a drip every 30 sec, and the other takes about 3 min per drop. Yes I know its minimal, and it evaporates fast, but I can not let it leak...will drive me crazy. I started with white...

Works for me :) was installed for a portable generator. To hard to remove so I left it in. No it can be a happy part off pool bonding :)

I have a grounding stake i installed for another reason yeas ago about 5 feet fro my pool. Do you think it smart to include this in my bonding circle?

Just had the same thing happen to me. Thought I was getting Hayward S244T. I know it is the same, but it's not what I ordered. If they had called and told me it was a sandmaster and it was identical except for color and sticker, I'd have been ok with it. I feel like the screwed me.... It's not...

So I am jumping in here. I too am looking at a Hayward SWG. My 15 K pool i was going to get the 25K cell. But the 40K isn't much more...Am I still ok with the 40K, or is it way to much overkill? It does say "Up to 40K"

Craig's list is full of awesome deals for filters and pumps. I just got a Hayward S244T new in box for $100. Look around. A lot of good deal out there if you look. Never get from pool store. Always way overpriced. Example from yesterday ...EC 65 DE filter at pool store $750.....eBay $200-400...

I'm in the same area. I'm looking fwd to a good long back flush. Then I get to play chemist yeah!!!

I'd keep it and have the fun and satisfaction of fixing it and watching it go from black to crystal clear :)

I have the K-2005 and the add on K-1515-A FAS kit. I like both!! I use the DPD for every day getting close. And I use the FAS weekly to see where I am exactly. Just my opinion. K-1515-A about $26 delivered.

You may end up robbing water from your main pump causing it to cavitate or get air bound. May need some valves to meter water to both better. May not work at all. I'm curious to know though

I really like Harleysilo's ideas. For me I think in gallons also. My pool is 15K gal. 24' x 52" round . Not near big enough for us. I'd like to double my pool size for sure.

Just had the same issue. Pool was clear, just not crystal clear . I added 2 cups DE powder to my sand filter. Over night my filter needed back flushing and my pool regained that clear sparkle. Thanks again to a suggestion from TFP.

Had the same storm @ Harrisburg area. I got lucky. Just leaves , branches and water to remove.

If you have a local pool supply they might have Taylor test chemicals. I know Leslie pool supply Carries most of them.

DPD is far more frustrating to get a close to accurate CC lvl. My opinion. FAS method is a dream...

I had the the 2005. Thought I was ok until I came to TFP. I had to buy the FAS kit to go with my K-2005. Now I guess I have a K-2005 +. Nice to get exact FC readings.

Got my FAS kit today, works great...to bad it says I have CC = .6 lol. I have looked and looked...can someone point me please to a thread on CC levels, what they do , and how I get rid of them please. I might just be blind but I cant seem to find it, I know I have seen it somewhere Grrrr

never thought of white paper lol, let me try again. It does not come close to 7.6 different shade all together. I know its tough to tell. Never had one look like this.
