I have been researching the Jandy aqualink RS-P4 system and had decided to price one with the PB (I will be installing it) until I read this thread: jandy-aqualink-rs6-indoor-panel-not-responding-t31504.html I then did some research looking to see what could cause this type of random problem...

I am thinking of getting this pump instead of the Jandy Flo Pro 1.0hp 2 speed with timer....the cost difference is only $200 since the controller that comes with the VS FloPro 2HP Variable-Speed Pool Pump will replace the need for the digital intermatic timer.....or am I missing something?

My wife and I are meeting with a PB tomorrow. We are getting a 37'9"L X 14'1"W, depth 3'10"-6"6 rectangular fiberglass pool and I wonder if we should get 2 skimmers and if so, should they be looped or on separate lines and 2" or 2.5" lines? How many returns? 1.5" or 2" pipe for the returns...
