Do Premium Robots Actually Do a Better Job?

So I got a refurbished Sigma and as advertised, it cleaned the entire pool extremely well not leaving any uncleaned spots. The CC plus left a 5x5 foot area of dirt at the deepest part of the pool untouched after 7 cycles and was entirely gone within an hour of the Sigma's cycle. Pool is cleaner...

Dolphin Nautilus CC Plus Robot consumables

In terms of the rubber, I have only had to replace one of the conveyor belt looking things over 4 years. I have had to replace 2 motors however. Mine doesn't have access to an app or wifi, just the 3 options/blinking lights when you turn it on to tell it to clean every day/every other day/every...

Do Premium Robots Actually Do a Better Job?

According to roboticreviews.com, the Nautilus CC Plus on average peforms like mine where they claim it will clean about 85% of the pool (60-70% of mine) and they claim the Sigma gets everything. After watching a video online, the Sigma seems to move in a more systematic fashion in parallel lines...

Do Premium Robots Actually Do a Better Job?

I have a Nautilus CC Plus which I have had for about 4 years. Like others have said on here, the robot just moves aimlessly throughout the pool during a cleaning cycle going over the same area multiple times while missing somewhere between 20-40% of the pool. I have to run it through about 7...

    SWCG Help

I would recommend getting as big of a cell as you can. I have about a 35,000 gallon pool with a 55k cell and have to run it at 100% 12 hours a day during the hottest summer months to avoid algae outbreaks. This is in Phoenix however and the pool has no shade. May be slightly better where you are.

    Leaking Circupool Cell

I don't think its the O-ring since changing it didn't work and there is no leak with a winter cap on. Looks like there is some defect with the cell preventing a complete seal like it just doesn't push it tight enough against the O-ring. When the lid is screwed on tight, tightening it a little...

    Leaking Circupool Cell

Hello, I noticed a leak around the Circupool SJ salt cell where the cap threads into the housing after taking out the cell to clean it. I have changed the O-ring, placed plumbers tape on the threads and tinkered with it dozens of times but it still leaks/drips which accumulates a large amount...

Nautilus CC Plus vs. Polaris 9550

Thanks. I'll probably just try to fix the Dolphin then as it doesn't sound like one cleaner is probably that much better than another.

Nautilus CC Plus vs. Polaris 9550

I have a Nautilus CC Plus that will not run anymore and is about 2 months out of warranty. I am debating whether to fix it/replace the motor unit or try a Polaris 9550. The Nautilus did okay but would often not clean fairly large areas of the floor and did not do any of the steps. Anybody have...

Help With Salt Generator Not Producing Chlorine

It comes set to 240V which is my setup verified by the multimeter. It worked for 2 years set up like that. Unless they switched it to the 120V mode when I sent it in for testing and didn't switch it back. I guess I could open the controller box and look at that. The lights on the control module...

Help With Salt Generator Not Producing Chlorine

I think it is the original as there is no flow switch. I have called Circupool many times and they seem to have no idea since according to them it is basically a new unit, hence why they blamed the problem on phosphates or pool chemistry or my power supply despite it being the same power I used...

Help With Salt Generator Not Producing Chlorine

Thanks for the replies. We have gotten a little off topic with the ionizers and chemical talk. I realize ionizers have pluses and minuses but my pool water has been fine for years until the salt system stopped working. My water is not green and there are no algae blooms, but it is cloudy because...

Help With Salt Generator Not Producing Chlorine

Everything mentioned above is working fine. The pool is not green, only slightly cloudy, but I also have some floating solar ionizers which seem to have kept any algae from blooming. I also dumped 4 gallons of acid and 6 gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool 2 nights ago and the next morning...

Help With Salt Generator Not Producing Chlorine

There are currently no lights on, but no chlorine production based on no bubbles in the water around the cell and no chlorine in the water during testing. A solid orange warning light will sometimes come on, but it is not on now. What specifically do you want to see on pictures of the cell and...

Help With Salt Generator Not Producing Chlorine

Hello, I am having a rather frustrating experience with my Circupool SJ-55 and am wondering if anyone on here has any other ideas on what can be done. I had the unit for 2 years and it worked pretty well until this year. It now fails to produce any chlorine at all. A few months ago I noticed...
