    battery acid?

I took a sample of water to Leslie's Pool Supply today and the owner of the store told me that the water is horribly acidic. She is usually the one to push products on people to the point of almost aggrivation, and told me today that buying anything for this water is a waste. She recommended the...

defeating the purpose but possibly enjoyable?

i just tore down a weathered old gazebo covering a jacuzzi for a customer and it had a square cap smoke tinted skylight on it thats still in good condition. it's ~4'x4'. i am preparing to build a palapa for my backyard that will be 16' diameter wide, 11' tall in the center, and 8' or 9' high on...

    how to deal?

ok. in the first pic, the queen palm frawns on the bottom are ~8'-9'. call me chicken, but im not climbing out on those branches with a chainsaw! and a saw on a pole is not much help. all in all, cutting the branches back isnt going to solve my issue of the danger and the mess. that would only...

    how to deal?

    how to deal?

i contacted code enforcment and they will only deal with front yard appearance or public sidewalk/street issues. and the city counsel is a joke and wont help (even though i drive a tow truck and help them all the time). sorry if i sound negative, ive had a couple rum/dr.p's and want to swim,but...

    how to deal?

all good on short post. neighbors are all for any tree trimming. i would trim to property line other than that would result in massive damage to my property. the branches are long as heck and the best i could safely crawl out to cut off would still result in a 25' branch coming down with me...

used power poles work too for the main post and you can usually find one laying somewhere. sand it, put a sealer on it and build off it. not very oem but works for us financially challenged diy'ers.
