LOL, its just me and my hubby so no issues there. I blame him for everything, he blames me, we're good! We actually have a separate filter and second set of pvc pipes going into the pool on the opposite side of the filter for the solar setup, we usually turn off the solar if we're in the pool...

How to connect two fafco solar panels together?

Darn, it sounds like these work differently than the ecosolar panels we had previously, the old ones were in series so the water travelled basically like an S shape through the panels. my rack isn't set up to have the panels run the other way, will it not work if it's in series? I REALLY don't...

    Saltron Retro Review

It's worked really well for us and I have no complaints at all. I'm not sure why the timer piece is an issue once you get it set properly you pretty much don't change it unless you have a party with alot of people and want to bump it up, we had about 50 people over last week, so for the next 3...

    Anyone using SOLAR SUN RINGS?

We had the solar rings and they were more trouble than they were worth. Kept deflating and filling with water. Finally threw them out and went with a standard solar cover. I cut it into three pieces so it's easier to handle and works so much better it's unbelievable. And what we paid for the...

Sorry I haven't replied, I've been floating :) I'll take some photos tonight so you can see the gouges. The pool cover was installed with the wire all the way around and tightened down and we also used bungees and bottles to add some additional holding power. We sit on a 50 ft bluff...

New intex pool with Intex Salt Water System Chlorinator

We had an intex with SWG last year and a new hard side above ground this year. Here's the process we follow each spring 1. Buy the pool opening kit from the pool store that has the shock, algacide, etc. Dump it in and filter for 24 hours. 2. Check salt levels and add salt to proper level...

    Dumb question :-/

We've been open since end of march (the wind opened it for us!) We've got 4 20' ecosaver panels in direct sun. you can barely touch the water coming out of the hose when it's full sun. We use a separate intex filter just for the panels so we can run as needed and not affect the main filter...

52" vs 54"... with young kids

We went from an intex to a 54" I don't notice a huge difference with the 2" depth change. If you're going to worry about the kids 2" isn't going to be what makes you worry or not :) The matrix wall isn't bright, here's a link to our installation photos and finished pool, solar panels, wall...
