    Intelliflo VSF tripping breaker immediately

Update. I changed out the gfi breaker for a standard one. The pump runs as it should without issue. I dont want to leave it like this but am happy that the pump is functioning. Could I just now be experiencing the issues associated with not having the specific pentair breaker? I have a square d...

    Intelliflo VSF tripping breaker immediately

So I removed the drive unit from the motor and reset the breaker, I can select a speed and it shows itself in the priming phase. Does this indicate that the problem is with the motor itself and not the drive? The motor is very corroded for only a 4 year old unit I wonder if there has been an...

    Intelliflo VSF tripping breaker immediately

Thanks for the replies. I did remove the entire drive unit just to visualize the connection with the motor itself. We have had alot of rain lately so I wanted to make sure there wasnt any water in there. That would suck if the drive is bad, that stupid thing is expensive!

New member looking at SWG upgrade

Thanks for the replies. I do not have a timer for my pump, it has a control panel integrated on the pump itself. If I were to get the ichlor would I still need a timer for it or would the pump communicate with it to tell it when to start and stop?

I have successfully brought it back to life using the 2006 test kit and the pool math app. It looks great but I would like to add a SWG. My pool is small (5k gallons) so I was looking at...

Need to start by saying thank you for all the info on this forum including the pool math app. We had our pool done 2 years ago and I have had a pool guy maintain the chemicals until last month. He went MIA so I am my new pool guy thanks to this forum. Had an algae (green) breakout 3...
