Valve issue? No flow from Spa when filter in "Pool" mode

The filter is 15 months old. I haven't cleaned it yet. I did notice there is no flow through through the flap/lid below. Looks to be between the SWG and heater.

Valve issue? No flow from Spa when filter in "Pool" mode

Hi, I have a pool/spa that when the filter is in "pool" mode the water flows from the spa to the pool via a small waterfall. Today my wife noticed no waterfall so I checked the system. With the filter in "pool" mode the water no longer is flowing from the Spa to the pool. No water is flowing...

SWG sensor and Taylor salt test discrepancy......SWG shutdown

When I bought the home with the pool I installed the SWG myself so I have never replaced the unit. Do I replace the entire SWG or is there a replaceable part within the SWG? Also should I get a larger unit since this one only lasted 2.5 years?

SWG sensor and Taylor salt test discrepancy......SWG shutdown

That's the first thing I did when I measured no chlorine.

Do Premium Robots Actually Do a Better Job?

I bought the Dolphin M600 a couple of years ago for around $1500 or $1600. I probably used the fancy features less than a handful of times at first but have never used them since. The main reason for me getting this one was it had more suction than the models below it and I read some of the...

SWG sensor and Taylor salt test discrepancy......SWG shutdown

Thanks for replying. The SWG is: Replacement cell compatible with Hayward® AquaRite® - CircuPool® CIR-GEN15 (Aftermarket Cell) and is 2.5 years old. As for the serial number unfortunately it's exposed to the elements and not entirealy readable. CELL: MOOEE??....the first letter (M) is the...

SWG sensor and Taylor salt test discrepancy......SWG shutdown

Just went to go test my pool and there is no chlorine! I noticed something was off when some of the pool corner looked yellow. My SWG sensor measures 1700 and I am measuring 3200 ppm with the Taylor test. The SWG shutoff automatically and my system has "very low salt". Do you guys think...

    Too much SWG?

I'm returning the CORE35 and ordered the T-Cell-15 replacement, flow switch, collars/union from discountsaltpool. The lady on the phone was very helpful, she even asked me to check the controller to verify that it would accept the T-Cell-15 which it does. Apparently not all Hayward...

    Too much SWG?

I think that may be my model. I opened it up and sure enough there's a 10 pin plug for the Salt Cell and a flow switch connector (see picture). I think this will make the installation much simpler since I don't have to make any dedicated power connections other than the 10 pin plug. Looks...

    Too much SWG?

Thanks for you help Mark, I wouldn't mind a Hayward that integrates into my system but I'm not seeing any model numbers in the controller. Mine is about 10 years old, hear is another picture of the front with the box open. There's no description on the box...it's just looks like a circuit...

16 years and still chugging sounds great! Here are some pics. Looks like model BH2-PS-RF-8-P?

    Too much SWG?

Honestly I thought all my stuff was pentair and I saw some questionable reviews on the pentair SWG. I then realized after I ordered that I have the Hayward controller but seems like the CircuPool CORE Series is easier to install/setup but I could be wrong.

    Too much SWG?

Flow would be right to left in the pic so upwards flow. Looks like I'm still good with the install at an angle.

    Too much SWG?

I did a quick search and sure enough, there have been reports of explosions with pics on this forum! I'm definitely not just plugging it in! Thanks for the info.

    Too much SWG?

Core35 arrived today. Any issues mounting at an angle as shown in the picture? I looked through the installation guide and didn't see anything on this. The only thing I saw was a minimum of 6" straight pipe before the cell to ensure flow switch gets triggered. If this is not recommended then...

I like that fix! Been researching those dolphin's and looks like that will be my next pool purchase.

    Too much SWG?

Just ordered the CORE35 from discount salt, seemed like a good deal and should be enough for my 12K gallon pool. Also got some Pleatco filters and k-1766 salt drop test from Amazon. Next I need to figure out how to fix my Polaris cleaner since it keeps getting tangled...

    Too much SWG?

Thanks for the welcome TX Splash. I bought a home with a pool and learning as fast as I can. My CYA levels are off scale high (>100) so draining (and acid washing) the pool so I figured adding a SWG at the same time would be a good idea. Seems like I can't go wrong with the larger Circupool...
