Sorry, it has been a while since i have posted, and my signature is gone. IG 16x32 Vinel. It is a old Lakeside pool. Those of you from around my area know what it is.

Still having problems holding pressure in my hose, has to be the hose. Skimmer works fine, but attach the hose anyway and it doesn't hold. Can the hose be bad with no signs of holes?

Sounds like me. Unexpected house issues have taken from my pool, fence, and landscaping fund. My house is older as is my pool, so i guess it just comes with the territory. Hopefully i will not have to spring for a new liner this year. I am keeping my fingers crossed!

The problem is with the hose, i can't get the water started through it. I can get the prime pumped out of the skimmer and plumbing, so i believe the plumbing is ok. Thanks i will give that a try. How are you doing with your pool problems?

Update: Drained about six inches of water from the pool via sump pump. Cleaned up some leaves, seems to be alot of just mud like on the bottom. Reattached pump and sealed. Primmed system again and again, finally got it flowing! Yea! Realized how loud my 1970s pump was. (Imagine 2 cats...
