    Pump pause before starting

Thank you for your responses! It finally died altogether and the outlet was dead. It was actually loose wiring behind the outlet.

    Pump pause before starting

The other day I noticed my my pump had a slight delay in starting when tuning it on. I didn’t think much of it until the next morning I went to turn it on and it wouldn’t start (we’ve had a terrible May and it was VERY cold around 28 degrees). I checked the breaker, everything was good, no...

Re: Live in Michigan, peeked under cover, GREEN, what to do In sunny Buffalo NY here! Same thing peeked under the cover and green! We usually open May 1st we will try to open earlier if we can this year because of the abnormally high temps however... It is Buffalo we're probably due for...

    Algaecide Question

The pool is clear, it just looks dull this year as compared to years past and we have been fighting algae all summer. The pool store by me only does the test strips which I already have, and I am fully aware is totally useless, grrrr! I only posted "looks good" because it is the best I have at...

    Algaecide Question

Thanks so much for your help! I just have cheap test strips that give "ranges" for pH, TA, FC and stabilizer (not CYA). My ranges all looked good, except for the stabilizer which is reading very low. I've not used the TF100 test strips and definitely will be getting some before adding more...

    Algaecide Question

This is our 4th pool season, and it certainly has been a challenge! We have had an unusually wet spring, followed by an extremely hot summer (pool temps in July reached 90, which is unheard of in western NY)! The algae and pollen has been a constant battle this year (we used the DE trick in...
