Ok, thank you for your input. I appreciate it.

Single return bubbling with weak water flow

I'll definitely check for the bubbles as you suggested. Should I be concerned about the weaker flow from the one return?

Anyone have NPT Starburst Tile in Smoke Gray?

Just a follow up. We've had the starburst tile installed, so I wanted to share a picture of it.

Single return bubbling with weak water flow

I've noticed that when my vsp Jandy pump is running on low speed one of my three returns is bubbling and has a very weak flow. The return in question is the farthest from the pump. The bubbling alternates between several small bubbles and one to two large bubbles about every 15 - 45 seconds. Any...

    Toe Tile or Step/Bench Markers

Hi all, I'm following up with the answer I received about the cost of the toe tile in a Latham/Viking fiberglass pool. The response was that the manufacturer is not currently doing inlay tile due to the increase in demand. :sneaky:

    Toe Tile or Step/Bench Markers

Sorry, I knew it was possible, just wasn't sure of the process or of how well the tile shows through on a darker finish. I suspect it's going to be fairly expensive, so I'd like to make sure they will even serve their purpose and it's really difficult to find examples of it.

    Toe Tile or Step/Bench Markers

Thanks for sharing. My concern is for safety also, but I'm worried with the darker finish that only a really iridescent tile would even show up.

    Toe Tile or Step/Bench Markers

Thanks for the link. I can't believe how hard it is in general to information about all pool related things, but especially the Latham website. I have a feeling it's going to be expensive, but I've requested info and a quote from it builder. There are only 2 Latham builder's in my area, so they...

    Toe Tile or Step/Bench Markers

I'm looking for examples of toe tile or step/bench markers on a dark blue pool finish. I am interested in seeing which tiles you selected and how well they shine under the water. Also, do the bench markers cause any issues when sitting on the benches? Are they rough or uncomfortable? I am...

Anyone have NPT Starburst Tile in Smoke Gray?

As of now we're planning to use it as waterline tile with the idea of creating a water feature that we may try to incorporate it into. We're also considering something more natural for the feature and I thought it would blend nicely with stone. But I don't want it to completely disappear, so I'm...

Anyone have NPT Starburst Tile in Smoke Gray?

I am still deciding on finishes and am interested in the NPT Starburst tile. I can't find any pictures of it installed other than the ones on the NPT website. I'd love to see pictures, in different lighting/ at different times of the day, if you have them. I'd especially love to see it against a...

    Official 2020 Pool Critters Thread

We rented a house on Cozumel and had multiples of these guys daily...we had quite the collection, but the pool service took them before I got a picture.

    Thinset Correct on Tile Install?

We are considering a very similar tile, but I was concerned about this being an issue. Please keep me/us posted on how the PB handles it. By the way, what is the brand and color of the tile?

    Contrasting Coping...

Does anyone have a contrasting coping with their deck? Are you willing to post a photo or two? I'm conflicted with a variegated paver deck (cream/tan, brown, gray) and whether I should go with the matching coping or choose an off white coping to create a very distinct border. The pavers are US...

    Latham Pool Colors

Do you have a screen on your pool? We aren't getting one and live in a more rural area. I expect that we will have the occasional dead animal/alligator (yes, really) in the pool. Is the Ocean Blue too dark to recognize something like that during the day or at night?

Thanks guys. I looked at that Gemini photo many times and never noticed the Night Sky G2 label at the top.

    Latham Pool Colors

Thanks for the suggestion, however the Cancun is a fiberglass pool and not a liner. I'm not sure the colors would be comparable.

    Latham Pool Colors

We are in the early stages of purchasing a pool and we're still deciding on some of the design aspects. With COVID and boredom, we have several months to wait for the actual build, so we're taking our time and researching (obsessing) each aspect. We've decided on the Cancun by Latham and are...
