    Disabled Vet needing your help!!

I’d like to form it right on the pool deck/yard. I want it to spill back into pool. The pool is concrete, there are areas on the side and bottom that will need to be fixed with hydraulic cement and topping.

Re: Fastest method to go green to blue in 4.5 days? Help me Thank you, I appreciate that. Yeah I guess someone can babysit it for a few days, wouldn't be a problem because I expect to have the hard part done. And your welcome, was my pleasure.

Fastest method to go green to blue in 4.5 days? Help me plz

Re: Fastest method to go green to blue in 4.5 days? Help me The power should be back on when I get there, hopefully. I'm going to hire someone to maintain the pool once I clean it, but they wanted over $800 to do the clean up.

Fastest method to go green to blue in 4.5 days? Help me plz

Re: Fastest method to go green to blue in 4.5 days? Help me Yeah it clogs fast, that's why I don't bother backwashing. The bleach I get isn't a bad deal, 2.5 g at 12.5% for $5

Fastest method to go green to blue in 4.5 days? Help me plz

Background: Medically retired from military end of may and left my pool in ga to go to school in tx. I had the house rented before I left but the guy backed out on me. No power for over three months at the house equals a really bad looking pool. My property manager won't ren house until pool...

Pump turnover time, is this correct?

Seems that builders picking oversized pumps is a common thing

Pump turnover time, is this correct?

Well my gauge was slightly off of zero, about one or less, so I know it wasn't negative. The values that I pulled from high and low speed were proportional in the GPM, which they should be. My math came to 80GPM High and 40GPM Low. Even though taking measurements at low speed worked for me and...

Pump turnover time, is this correct?

Assuming your math is correct on your head loss, I didn't check it, you would use the 40ft for your loss. I looked at your curve and looks like you got it all correct. So yes you would be turning over your 14k in 2.3hrs. In my opinion, your pump is way too big for your pool. Not sure if you...

Pump turnover time, is this correct?

2-1.5in returns and then the feed for the polaris. I would guess its about 50% less then the 1.5in returns. Currently only one eyeball, other is removed for fountain. PSI is now 1 on low speed, but starting PSI was 0

Pump turnover time, is this correct?

So the new pump, filter, ect. is now installed and wanted to fiqure out how long I needed to run. YES, I know there is a topic in pool school that is "figuring out pump run time" but that seemed to be running a big circle to get to the same point as a straight line. I have the whisperflo...

I don't ever remember saying that I was willint to entertain you imagination, I'm just messing with you. I'm also a mechanic, ACFT fulltime and autos on the side. Anyways, the pump is working as advertised. I planned on removing it from the pad, so I can get a better look on my...

Polaris Booster Pump 220v to 120v problem

Yes, thankyou. My control/timer/breaker box, was a disaster. I don't know who had wired it up, but it was a nest of wires going everywhere. My dad had taught me how to wire boxes when I was about 10 or 11yrs old. I will quit rambling about people doing Crud work, but yes everything is cut to...

Polaris Booster Pump 220v to 120v problem

Nevermind on this, I pulled the diagram up and fiqured it out. I can use either a 15 or 20amp breaker for the booster. A 15amp should work, it's 20% over the max draw of 13amps. I still have the problem of in not running when switched to 120v

Polaris Booster Pump 220v to 120v problem

Yep that's how it was wired, I tried it both ways. The breaker is 20amp, which feeds my dual intermatic timers. I could pull a diagram if needed but I can describe it to you. The 20 amp breaker feeds the first timer, the output on #1 timer feeds the main pool pump, stenner pump and feeds timer...

    Fountain to cool down pool

I know your pain with high temps, I'm above you in GA. I use a fountain on my return and it works well. You may want to be carefull running it 24/7 because it's the same as aeration which raises PH.
