I would suggest turning the 2x4's on the short side as they will be able to support more weight than if lying on the flat side. Can't say if this is a good thing to do, hopefully others will chime in to assist. -Marvin

Dumb question.... You replaced a failed pump that had a twistlock style plug attached. Why cant you simply swap the cords? This will put your equipment in compliance with regards to what the inspector is asking.
