It's been over a month and a half and the original DE is still good according to the guage. Only reading 2 PSI rise. Water is srystal clear and everything appears fine. Just need to know if this is normal? Should I change it monthly? Etc.

People want to swim in my pool, and they just semm to have to puch off the side of it with there feet. Is this okay for the pool? I don't let them kick near the seam of the pool. Thanks!
