Thank you! - I'll test it out today. I did see you can buy ascorbic acid for Pools on Amazon, so if it works I guess I could get some - or just buy a bunch of tablets and hold them against the stains

So grind down some vit c and apply it while stain is wet? I'd need to empty the pool of course. Why not use an acid wash?

Label shows 2.5 - 5% sodium hydroclorite. I've used 4 gallons already so if it should raise by 7.4 ppm somethings wrong. Maybe as you said the bleach is old?

I have two 12v LED lights I am installing. Should they be wired in series or parallel to the 12v transformer? Since I have 2 47W LED lights, and a 120W transformer, I'm thinking it should be in parallel so current is cut across the 2 LEDs
