Glad you're still working on it Ken! It's a great app & I use it all the time. @IL_WS - PlayBook has some great abilities to run android APK's, SimplePool should load & run fine that way

@ Isaac-1 I'm not sure I understand your request for easy changes to defaults- If you go into the Defaults screen, and change the "Level Goals" from TFP to Custom, then click the now active "Set Custom Levels" button, you then have access to each value & the TFP defaults are still in place-...

another thought, and I'm guessing that I'm the only one since I suspect most can keep the number in their head easily enough, but..... Any chance of a field to enter FC? I know the app does it's own math, and the number only needs to be remembered for a moment till I work out the CC & add for...

Honestly, I'm probably both happier and would get better results just being able to export data to csv as a generic format that I can import to and manipulate in excel. I'm just maintaining my own small pool, am in no rush for fancy! I just wanted to be sure I wasn't missing out on a feature...

Sweet- Thanks for the update!! Synching is a good thing. Question- Is there a way to have the data available for review on a PC as well? Would be nifty to get the measurements logged into the phone, and later review on the PC. Even just a basic export to csv format or something?

    Back for year #2 :)

Just wanted to say "Hey!" back for year #2 on our AGP, and using the BBB method has made things sooooo much better than our last AGP experience. That previous pool resulted in 2 summers of continuous trips to the pool store and non-stop battling of chems and problems. Last summer just getting...

    intex pool and deck build

Nice additions- love how the color of the Tiki just seem to light right up at night with the flash reflecting off them. I like the idea of using solar so you don't have to run wires & the 2 dozen other headaches that come along for the ride.

Think I found one- just a wording issue On the Advice screen, regarding a need to lower my TA (is 110, targeting 80), it says: "Lower TA with acid to 7.5, then aerate to increase PH" I thought the process was "To lower TA, lower PH with acid to 7.2, then aerate to increase PH"

new owner, first balancing of Intex SWG agp

We had a good hard rain yesterday afternoon, added ~2 inches in the pool & the usual assortment of leaves & such. Power had gone out momentarily and tripped the CGI breaker for the pump so it ran only 6 of it's 7 hour cycle (swg & pump run together) About 6:30 PM I did a basic FC/TC and PH...

Progress update Numbers held the same values across 24 hours, SWG running and about an inch of rain. SO, I went for the chlorine money shot- the overnight test. Shut down the pump/swg combo last night after testing the chems, oh, about 8 PM or so. Went out this morning about 6:45 & tested again...

chems are in :) Starting out with 1 gallon of CYA and five cups & change of bleach, basic plain Clorox, 6% on the label. CYA will probably be a little short, but it's easy to add more & all that. made sure to clean the filter before adding chems, and have the pump set to run 24 hours check...
