Very true, but it has been under .5 for three days, I have not officially passed the Overnight FC test as of yet. I kind of gotg frustrated at teh beginning and s;lightly negelcted, I am over 30 bottles of bleach so far as well. Im just frustrated. I need more POP.

This picture give me hope... I have been maintaining my Fc levels around 14 and have no visual improvement in one week.

Re: Algae or metals? No method to measure at this point. All I am going on is the word of the pool guy that my wife took the sample to. He said all is good except Iron is too high. I used Metal Magic in 13,500 gallons and no change whatsoever, I also added DE to sand filter via pool school...

Re: Algae or metals? Took test this morning. FC color is practically the same as last test last night,best i can do until k2006 arrives, but water still looks like above pictures don't know what to do.

Re: Metals? Posting pictures for another perspective. Chlroine level did drop, current test only goes to 5, but it is much darker than that. Still look like algae??
