Swimpure Control Board or T-Cell bad?

Swimpure with t-3 cell. Reads 29.2 V, .82 amps , 800 salt. Turn switch to off for a few seconds then back on, Reads 27V 2.57 amps, 3000 salt, then, after a few minutes, reverts to above readings. 3000 salt reading is correct. Salt cell bad or Control Board?? Thanks!

    Suntouch Control System

I thought there might be some kind of a tool like a terminal punchdown tool, but I guess just pushing them in by hand will work fine. Thanks!

    Suntouch Control System

Back again. I have the 3 pin connector. What's the secret for attaching the wire? I have a punchdown tool, but it will not work with this connector.

    Suntouch Control System

Yes, they are the same. I disconnected the actuator from the screw terminals on the Goldline solar controller, and wired the 3 pin connector, and it works fine. Haven't started the Suntouch yet, but must use the 3 pin since the Suntouch has no screw in option.

    Suntouch Control System

Perfect!! Thanks very much. As I mentioned, I'll probably have more questions as I get going with this. So far, many of my questions have been answered by the other posts on the Suntouch subject.

    Suntouch Control System

I think I made what should have been a simple question complicated!:( What is the configuration at the 3 pin terminal end of a valve actuator? White black red, black red white, etc? Thanks.

    Suntouch Control System

Beginning install of a Pentair Suntouch. This is probably the first of hopefully not too many questions.:) Have a Goldline valve actuator with stripped wire only at the terminals of my Goldline Solar Controller. Ordered a 3 pin terminal. How is the terminal wired to connect to the Suntouch...

    ColorSplash 3G Problem

I kind of thought that might be the case, but figured I'd take a shot at asking anyway. Bulb is out of warranty, and I hesitate to replace it with the same brand. Any preference between the Hayward and Pentair lights?

    ColorSplash 3G Problem

I have a ColorSplash 3G bulb. The bulb stopped changing programs with the cycling of the transformer on/off switch. I removed the bulb and am bench testing with a Leviton PX300 transformer. When the primary of the transformer is switched, the bulb will not change programs, however, when the...

    Intelliflo Operating Question

I called Pentair support today, and posed my question. The answer is no! Not a real drawback, and, after a week of use, I'm pleased that I replaced my 1.5 HP single speed pump! I was concerned about what pump RPM would be needed to draw water up my solar heater, and in my case, 2300 RPM...

    Intelliflo Operating Question

When my pump is running in scheduled mode, and I override the schedule by pushing a speed button, is there a way to get back to the schedule without shutting the pump down and restarting?

    PVC Question

Got it done. Thanks for the answers. My concern was that while installing a new pump, I was hooking into the system with a fitting that, if screwed up, would make major work! BTW, VSP installed, wonder why I waited so long to dump my 1.5 HP single speed!

    PVC Question

The dry fit will not go ALL the way in, but that's the way its supposed to fit isn't it? Goes in about 2/3, which is all it did on a fresh coupling.

    PVC Question

I'm not very experienced with working with PVC. I made a connection with a 2" coupling and some cement slopped into the other end. Will that mess up my using the coupling, or will the new primer and cement melt the slopped stuff? I can still do a dry fit ok. Thanks.

    VSP Plumbing Question

I guess the warranty issue is moot, since Pentair's new policy, effective 10/13, is that all DIY installs are only warranted for 60 days. Thanks for the advice.

    VSP Plumbing Question

I am considering the purchase of a Pentair 11018 Variable Speed Pump. I currently have a StaRite PR2A5F-182L with a PXC 95 Filter. In reading the installation instructions for the Pentair 11018, they recommend a straight distance of 10 inches from the suction input to the first elbow. With my...
