    I had the same problem with mine - They finally replaced it with the new CPX48 - much better design - Still cost me $350 but now I have a new 2 year warranty.

    I installed mine this week - Looks really nice- Much better done than the old unit. Pool is still covered for the winter so won't know how well it works for a couple months yet.

    Is your pool still open? Closed mine down 3 weeks ago when the power supply went. I liked the fact I could see the gas being generated in the old one. Don't know if it will be visible in the new one. If yours is still open let us know when you hook it up.

    I'm using the Compupool CPS48 also and find it works very well. Don't count on the temperature readings being accurate and the salt values may need to be re calibrated. It's done a great job on my 25K pool.
