from what I have readt the 2650 gph has a 1 hp motor and the 4000 gph has a 1/4 hp motor. I would say that the 2650 is musch stronger. I have the 1600 ghp sand filter and it is stronger than the 4000 that came with my pool.

So you are thinking that the 4000 gph pump on the filter pump will have a higher flow than the pump on the sand filter?

why would you want to run them together?

It looks to me like some of your wood is not pressure treated, is that true?

Weekend before last we had a wildfire close to our house, as a result I had a lot of ash fall into the pool. Since then the pool water has been cloudy. I know the TA and PH are high and am working right now to get that down. My question is will the ash throw off the chemicals in the pool...

yeah, but I will not be 100% positive there aren't wrinkles until I get back into the pool. working on getting the SWG worked out right now.

I am sure it was between 95 and 100 when I put out the liner and straightened it becasue that is how hot it has been everyday for the past 2 weeks. I did not fill the pool all at once so I don't think it would be cold water causing it to contract and then strecht out later. Kinda aggravating...

I set this pool up about a week ago and there were no wrinkles in the bottom. I noticed yesterday that there appears to be wrinkles forming in the bottom now. The pool is set up on the 3/4" blue foam from Lowe's. Any ideas what caused this to happen?

did you use treated wood for the floor joists? In the first pics they look untreated.
