The pool is already 2/3rds full. The guy who is bringing the water told me he would fill within 2" of the skimmer hole and stop and let me install the skimmer and finish adding the water. Have anybody cut the liner before installing the skimmer?

The only gasket that came with the skimmer is a butterfly gasket so it appears I would have to cut the liner first.

I ordered the 28' round matrix. I didn't order the bead receiver separate. Is what I'm hearing, this pool doesn't come standard with the bead receiver? If that's the case, I guess I'm going to be doing the j-hook.

I have starting removing the old pool and am going to need a couple of bags of sand to help level out the sand base. Does lowes sell any sand that would work as the base. I only need a couple hundred pounds.
