BigJD, I have 4 of the TIC Omni's around the pool and they are great. I don't have to turn the volume way up and the sound can be heard evenly throughout the pool area and decking as well. Greenhaw

Wow it has been a while. As you all know, when the pool gets completed you seem to get real busy. We are now officially complete (sort of) and life is great. The construction phase went very well. Completed in just under six weeks and can't say enough good things about Hobert Pools as our...

    Bubbler/Fountain opinions or problems

Jaime, Although our pool is relatively new, we have had no problems with the bubblers. We enjoy the sound and the look and they run pretty much 100% of the time. The kids enjoy them also. We have seperate valves operating each bubbler and I would highly recommend the added valves. We also...

    LED light or Regular light?

Jaime, Adding to PoolGuy's comments: We recently completed our pool and struggled with one or two LED's. We went with one LED and now regret the decision. $500 was the reason we went with one and not two and that would have been $$$ well spent if we had chosen the second light. If the pool...

    Wicker Furniture?

Does anyone have any opinions on using wicker around the pool? My only experience is one 4 piece set my wife bought at Brookshires grocery store (pretty cheap) that we had under a covered patio and it only lasted about one year. Is the longevity on wicker very short or did she just buy a cheap...

    Overflow drain question

I am having a ball valve installed on the overflow so I can keep it closed and not lose water from normal use and splashing. Will be able to open it when needed. Am I the only one that has done this? My PB wasn't big on overflows because of water loss and he suggested the ball valve. Greenhaw

Filling new pool with well water?

Gina, I too have a well and was wanting to fill with the well water. For me the metals were not a problem but the water was extremely hard. The TA and CH were both off the chart. You may want to go ahead and invest in the TF-100 test kit and at least you would know what you are dealing with...
