    FAS-DPD is 14FC, OTO is 1 water not sparkly

    I checked my chlorine tonight and the test results are: FC: 14 CC: 0 pH: 7.5 CYA: 50 CH: 260 TA: 90 Salt: 3100 The pool looks slightly yellow/green instead of it's white/blue. Have been getting heavy rains the past few days. The SWG is set at 45%. Any ideas? I might put a jug of clorox in to...

    Turbidity measurement (was "what is NTU?")

    Re: A Better CYA Test Kit? Does anyone know the relationship between CYA and NTU for the TF-100 test kit? If not, I guess a quick and dirty two point calibration could be done using the 50CYA standard and dilution. I have use of a Hach-2100Q and would rather measure the turbidity directly...

    New TF-100 kit and high (55) CC reading

    Hello, I've been lurking here for some time and finally took the advice to order my own test kit and take care of my own pool. The funny thing is that there is a CC reading of 55, which repeated twice. Most folks post a reading of 0.5 or so. I'm not sure what this means, if it's good or bad...
