Plug leaking (spraying!) pressure switch on Raypak 407a

Discovered water leaking from the bottom of the heater today. I thought it might be the heat exchange, but upon pulling a panel, it turns out it's the pressure switch. I've ordered another, but it's going to take a while. Has anyone plugged the hole left by the switch? If so, what can I use to...

    Spa Pool Light Burst?

My daughter turned on the pool lights this past week, then discovered the spa looked "dirty" and the light wouldn't turn on. See photos to find what I discovered. The incandescent lights are on a GCFI circuit, and the main pool light will still light. They have separate switches. My intention...

Hi! My pump motor is making a low pitched whine (started yesterday, though much quieter). I can hear it inside the house where I couldn't before. Checked pressure and all is nominal. Based on reading here, it seems I can replace the motor with another without replacing the pump; also without...

Ideas for pulling side valve without handle.

I was pulling out the side valve to line the o-rings, and the handle came away from the rest of the valve. I suppose the pin corroded. Any ideas for getting the rest of the valve out without damaging it?

Thanks! Just started maintaining my own pool...

We had a "pool guy" walk away from a yellowing pool for two weeks, and still left us an invoice. We fired him, but the pool started turning green. I called a few other companies out to get quotes to turn the green pool blue again, but prices were much higher than they had been (even the last...
