    foam board (2") underlay and legs/pavers question.

    I used the white foam and the bottom track was even with my foam so the cove moulding butted up nicely and I taped all the seams and also the cove molding then set the liner in place . I also tried the shop vac method but the pool being so large did not really work for me .

    Wall foam

    I used a polystyrene. It made a nice addition to the feel of the wall and bottom. It was my first pool install and my friends and family are quite impressed with the feel and comfort , I recessed the pool so my walls feel so much more solid vs spongy.

    I used leveling blocks for my oval pool , 8x12 on the sides and pavers for the oval ends , 1/2" polystyrene on top of sand put my liner flush and level with the top on the bottom rail added cove and liner and water ! It really was that easy.

    I used 1/2" polystyrene wall board on my pool bottom and also on the walls all taped well and a cove moulding I an attest as this was my first pool and first install that it feels great on the feet and knowing my liner is not touching the metal wall gives me some peace of mind that the liner...
