    Ackkk..high salt levels

You will have to check.... I know very little about this as my pool with SWCG was just built. But I think you need to check the manufacturers specs. on salt content. 4100 doesn't sound too high perse.... I think I have even read some suggest it higher, but you want to go with what your new cell...

But here it is one photo of filling the other two are a full pool. I did take some other photos along the way...

    Pool Surrounds and Weeds

Use a pre-emergent... Even with a weed barrier and rock eventually enough stuff will blow in on top to give the weeds a chance to survive. Most people won't tell you that a weed barrier won't really stop weeds. What they do is stop the weeds seeds already in the ground from getting all the...

Wetedge... I will be having the Wetedge Satin Matrix in Midnight Sea applied in I am guessing the next two weeks. If you don't have to make a decision until then I'll get some photos and a basic review of the look and feel. I am still a few weeks off before we could swim so I would not really...

    Anti-virus software suggestions

Panda anti-virus.... Since it has yet to be mentioned I have to put my support to Panda Anti-virus. I like them for many reasons a few of which I will list below: 1. set it and forget it - most anti-virus companies offer this, only Panda in my experience has been virtually hands and hassle...

    freediverca / Jeff

I am taking pics along the way and I'll post up a few next week. The actual construction of the pool itself is nothing really different than any other - it is the finished look that will be very different. In fact I spent two months before we even approached a builder trying to find a picture to...

    freediverca / Jeff

Hello TFP, I am currently in the process of having and inground gunite pool installed - I'll add all the features, info etc. to my signature soon. As I kid I used to take care of an above ground but so many years have passed it seemed like a good idea to get up to date on everything once again...

Ever heard of ATF as a deck sealer?

Don't know about as a deck sealer.... But back in the days when we put 3-4 transmissions in my truck in a day trying to find a good one I was basically water proof for a week or so from the tranny fluid. It is flammable though so I'd be concerned about that aspect of it. Jeff
