    Algae Bloom and no CC

My 12yo daughter is too petite to safely add the bleach without wearing.g chemical goggles - but that is an option now that it was mentioned Anyone know the safety of the test reagents? Would be a good science lesson to teach titration testing.

    Algae Bloom and no CC

Sounds like I was simply ignorant of how fast the CC could be dissipated by the wind (almost constant this time of year) I'll take it up to shock level (14), vacum, clean the the cartidge and let the filter run on continuous - Hopefully it will be sparkly by Saturday for some company (have in...

    Algae Bloom and no CC

When I am away for work or just getting home late for several days in a row, the pool care is simply ingored by others in the house. The idea is to swim unless it is green then go to the beach. Knowing that there should be CC from the chlorine killing the algae, my test results puzzle me...

Droid App - Wrote my Own

Not a problem - I thought you may have an older version that was 1.6 compatible. When you jump on the bandwagon early, you get left behind quickly. It's just hard downgrading hardware (not many 5" tablets with GPS) to get access to the newer software.

The only thing I can think of is that the OTO test was actually showing CC in the spring but wouldn't the pool be a nasty mess...

Loosing all CYA over winter WITH a good FC in the spring

Installed the pool in August two years ago (long story but did it myself, big learning experience) FC - maintained between 3-5 PH - ~7.5 (had a lot of trouble holding it) TA - very low CH - very low CYA - 35 Close the pool the first year with a "pool closing kit" - Opened up to a green swamp...

Possible problem with install? soft ground.

I did the work on my 27' AB - >18" slope over the 30', dug just under half of it by hand before giving up and renting a TLB to finish. Ground was so wet it shifted under your feet and I got the tractor struck several times while digging. Three hot dry days later and the ground was pretty much...
