I am in the market for a heat pump. Was leaning towards a Aquacal SQ155 (135k BTU). I contacted Poolheatpumps.com and they suggest a heat siphon brand pump (z575). Does anyone know anything about this company and this model? Thanks

The dealer who sold me the pool and set it up highly suggests the heat pump. He is telling me that the solar panels won't get me much more than 10 degrees. If I want temps in mid 80's , he is telling me that heat pump is the way to go.

A 1:1 ratio for a 28 ft round pool? The surface area for 28 ft round is 615 sq feet. I am looking at 4x12 ft panels. I would need 13 panels on the roof. Would that be too much weight? Will a 1.5 HP pump be sufficient?

The pump is a 1.5 hp pump. I hope that it has have enough pressure to pump the water about 35 ft back and a height of 20 ft to the peak of the roof.

The added portion is composite. Area took a beating with Hurricaine Irene. Pool and deck are intact except no power. Water is cloudy and I expect it to get green the next few days.
