We are looking to get a tarp style cover with water bags to hold it down. This is our first season with a pool. So, my question is what do we do otherwise once we cover it? Still run the filter and salt system? Is there any extra care that should be given or done before and while it is covered?

Thanks for the info. I had the water tested at the pool supply shop. I have what I need for the ph down. Can I do that first in the morning and then add the chlorine in the afternoon or do they need to be done together?
